hang Around

Greeted by `Mortadella', a kitsch piece by South Australian artist Billie Justice Thomson, this room evokes memories of a summer spent with our closest pals in Italy. Slicing fresh Mortadella, devouring it with panini and finishing it with a vino or three, this was the lunch time ritual. Italians keep it simple and all things enjoyed should be simple.

No need to peer. Come on in and stay a while.

The Byron Bay Hanging Chair adds the calmness and serenity of travel. Here you can read a book, admire the pressed ceiling and peer out the large bay windows looking out to Wombat Hill.

Hello Neighbour

White, white and more white. This spacious bedroom draws inspiration from our two loves in two continents - Japan's minimalist design and France's advertising posters. This room has the most free flowing space as it also comprises of large, double opening period doors that lead straight into the living area.

"Bonjour Voisin" or "Hello Neighbour" is our big, warm greeting to you. It's sourced from our favourite dealer of original posters, "The Galerie" based in Fitzroy, Melbourne. We hope this work from Michel Quarez puts a smile on your dial and gets you shaking hands with the friendly locals and people you meet in Daylesford.

"Hello Mr. Eames, fancy seeing you here!"

Simplemente Puntos

The hero element in this room is the Simplemente Puntos wallpaper by Brisbane based Milton & King. The room draws on our admiration of Scandinavian inspired design and Plywood furniture. With plenty of natural light, this contemporary space is simply stylish, simply sunny, simply dots.

Green with envy.

comfort Inn

The main living room is set in two chillout areas - one for reading - one for lounging, laughing and passing the time away.

Nothing beats a comfy couch when you’re keen to watch a flick. If you fancy, do make the most of the Smart TV, which comprises of Netflix and a high fidelity Bluetooth sound bar to also play your own music.

Michel Quarez is back. This time his poster "Graphisme dans la Rue Fontenay 4” (Graphics in the Streets) is looking over you, ensuring your downtime is not only relaxing, but also forever colourful.

Immerse yourself in this little reading nook. The Danish pair of leather H.W Klein armchairs (1970) are so snug, you won’t want to get off. Set alight the faux wood gas fireplace for a cosy night in. It works great!

"Brothers in Arms" is the photo taken by Steve in Peru. A love of people and places has enabled us to take lots of memorable photos over the years.

The Meeting Place

We both have a European heritage which means celebrating food is part of our DNA and at the core of every gathering. So please, open the doors, use the BBQ and eat till your heart’s content. We hope the communal table created by New Zealand designer Alastair Keating encourages you to share your stories and make for some fun-filled moments. Be careful, the UFO pendant is circling above ready to relay any debauchery that we're sure will occur!

There’s nothing quite like an 8-bit fireplace to keep you warm.

This navy inspired kitchen comes armed with everything you need to cook delicious homemade meals. It was custom made by Melbourne kitchen gurus Pronto Cabinets. Using trusted Miele appliances why leave when you can cook up a storm?!

Denim Fridge. Our fave.

"Mixing old and new with borrowed and blue." Here we've maintained the bathroom's period charm and combined it with modern luxuries. Now it's time to abandon your friends for a while and reach for the bath salts.

Prepare yourself on a Kaare Klint Safari Chair before diving in.

Our subway love of London, NYC and Kiev are subtly displayed here.
